Hacking devices can/will void your warranty and can turn your expensive consumer electronics into worthless trash if you don't know what you're doing. This blog is for information purposes only, and if you try to hack into your own consumer electronics, you do so at your own risk. The device I'm currently hacking is the Canon SX10 IS camera.

I'm still here

Just a quick update. I know I haven't posted anything recently. I've been really busy with work. It's been eating up all of my personal time. What I was working on before that onslaught of endless and challenging work assignments was merging the code published by Iomega and the code published by some other RTD 1262 players into the buildroot I had constructed. I was able to rebuild it, and executables that weren't working before started working. However, it could no longer chroot successfully due to some problem with the uclibc main library. So I did some comparisons and I've been recompiling with different options to get the working and nonworking libraries closer to the same code. When I get there, I'll publish the results. I think this will give me everything I need to build the kernel modules.
